To celebrate the 60th anniversary of ‘Alice B. Toklas Cookbook’ Grapefruit Publishing has invited a new generation of young Norwegian illustrators to give an entirely new visual approach to ‘Alice B. Toklas Cookbook’.
‘Alice B. Toklas Cookbook’ has become a classic and a cult book with its memories, travelogues and recipes. It has never been out of print since it was first printed in 1954, with illustrations by Sir Francis Rose.
This special limited jubilee edition of 100, signed and numbered, contains 20 new illustrations by 10 Norwegian artists with an introduction by artist and writer Tommy Olsson and a preface by Stein-Toklas collector Hans R. Gallas.
